I organised some birthday parties in September and I found this wonderful idea of a non-bake birthday cake - a watermelon cake! All you need is a watermelon, sliced into half, removed the skin, shaped it, then provide satay sticks and toothpicks and lots of fruits for decorations :)
I love that this idea involved "audience participation". All the "cakes" you saw were put together by the guests! We had a barbie-watermelon-cake, a banana-man-watermelon-cake and a messy-fruity-cake!
And the children enjoyed the process very much :)
